Join us for a brief overview of our Solar System, the Milky Way Galaxy, and the Universe. Learn what to see in the sky throughout the year, and discover when it’s best to view planets, meteor showers, aurora, eclipses, the Milky Way, and distant galaxies. We’ll demonstrate the tools used and stargazing aids, along with how to select binoculars or a small telescope, including the new “smart” telescopes that automatically show youwhere objects are in the sky.
Cancellations must be made five days in advance of the initial class session in order to be eligible for a refund to allow for system processing. Nicolet College reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, substitute instructors, or make any changes to classes as necessary. Age requirement for Community Education classes: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
